Questions
- Which PAYE figure do I enter?
- Use IRP5 code 4102, the employees' tax already paid for the year. The estimate is that amount minus tax after the deductions, medical credits, and retirement annuity contributions you enter.
- Does this submit anything to SARS?
- No. It uses the same 2026/2027 individual tables as the income-tax calculator. You review the result. Nothing is filed. It is not a SARS assessment.
- Why might the real refund differ?
- SARS assesses the full ITR12: other income, credits already on the IRP5, the section 11F cap, and any debt set-off. This page only applies the figures you type in.
Same tables as the income tax and PAYE calculator. Provisional payers can also use the IRP6 calculator. For how long a real refund takes, read SARS refund timing.
